The 11,500 square foot strength, conditioning and cardiovascular fitness room is equipped with Pre-Cor and LifeFitness state-of-the-art cardiovascular training equipment with integrated TVs including treadmills, upright and recumbent bicycles, ellipticals, steppers and stairmills, and upper body ergometers. This area also includes LifeFitness Signature and Free Motion Strength Training Equipment with a USB Tracking System to track the training effectiveness of each personal fitness program. Located within the Institute for Healthy Living, the Aquatic Center features a 25-meter heated four-lane lap pool designed with a zero step entrance ramp, heated lazy river resistance pool, cold water therapeutic immersion pool and four hot tubs, both private and co-ed. The center offers an adult fitness swim program, senior exercise classes, children’s swimming lessons, aquatic exercise, aquatic arthritis classes and prenatal exercise classes. Classes/Events.

An array of group exercise offerings are available including step, spin, tai chi, yoga, Pilates, and water aerobics to name a few. Four group exercise rooms are each designed to accent the holistic approach to wellness. From a multi-exercise bike spinning room to rooms dedicated to mind and body for yoga and Pilates, individuals have access to a broad selection of exercise choices that promote energy and strength. Healthy Living Hideaway
This children’s play center is available to members during designated hours where children age 0 – 12 can be supervised in a playful environment so parents are able to utilize the facility with peace of mind. The Healthy Living Hideaway provides a place where children ages 12 and under have an invigorating, fun, active, nurturing and safe environment to interact. Gym time for running and games, STOMPercise, and arts bring out the youthful energy in this age range. A Healthy Living Hideaway membership includes unlimited use and invitations to special family events.

**Reservations are required for newborns up to 12 months and for children who cannot walk without assistance.
Children age 12 and under are not allowed upstairs in the fitness area. Children ages 13 and 14 are allowed only with direct parental supervision. Children age 15 and older may use the entire facility without supervision.
The outdoor track is open to all children under the age of 15 with direct supervision. Strollers are allowed.
Children ages 12 and older may use the gymnasium if the parent is in the building.

Healthy Living Café by Brothers Lite
The Healthy Living Café by Brothers Lite is operated by Longview’s own David Lichty, of Brothers Deli. The café is open to the public on Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 7 p.m., serving a variety of healthy and unique offerings.

The Institute for Healthy Living is proud to offer personal nutrition and counseling services from a licensed, registered dietitian and a licensed professional counselor. Our dietitian and counselor can guide you along your path to good health and help you achieve your wellness goals.
Technologically-advanced rehabilitation facilities provide professional clinical staff with the tools and resources to aid an individual’s successful recovery and recuperation. As part of your recovery after a hospital visit, your physician may prescribe your path for wellness in one or more of the following areas: Outpatient Physical Therapy, Sports Medicine, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
Exercise Physiologist and Fitness Trainers will orient you upon joining on appropriate exercise prescription
Fitness Assessments including body fat, flexibility, girth measurements, and submax exercise testing will be performed as part of your rehabilitation
Physical Therapy and Cardiac Rehabilitation, with an integration of Education elements, such as regular appointments with a Registered Dietitian
Chiropractic care is the realignment of the spine and bone/body mechanics to relieve backache and postural problems. This treatment is used to analyze and correct spinal nerve interferences and helps to maintain the natural organization of the body so that it can function at its fullest capacity. Cody Hopson, DC, offers short-term and long-term chiropractic care treatments. As a chiropractor, Dr. Hopson is specially trained to locate and free your body of severe abnormalities that interfere with your body’s proper function.
